  i found a pice of sublimnal art as a dubbie i'm shocked!

  you guys this has really freaked me out so much tonight as i was looking though my revelation book climax at hand i was looking to see where we had left off and i usually do this by seeing where i have stopped highlighting in the book.. so i started at pg 156 & 157 of the book so there were a bunch of marks on those two pages their are pics nothing special there.. but on page 159 their is a pic of jesus in the heavens where he is extending his handout to get a piece of paper and that's where i notice on the hand that were the wrinkles are supposed to be there is a face like a fetusnow i mean anybody can tell you that is a face of a baby.

  i don't know why a baby on jesus hand or what it suppose to mean.

  i guess it really shows how the control tower (watchtower) make me a jw feel really shitty.

  I think there's a difference between deliberate subliminal messages in art work and what we see in nature, clouds etc. The hand with the baby seems deliberate but it also could be a coincidence.

  The cloud picture: I do have a vivid imagination and I can see what could look like a young boy but only because you say so. What I also see is a very large foot, pig's nostrils, a cute dog with white hair and black eyes or is it some white bird landing with wings spread. I even see a Koala bear but this is just my imagination. I know these aren't signs. You look hard enough you will find something.

  I don't think the 2nd Jesus would spend time on a discussion board talking only to x-witnesses.

  I think we can all agree that we want to keep this story alive. Tonight on Global's Everyday Heroes they featured Cheryl Perera: Fighting child exploitation. I thought this would be a good time to bring up the sex abuse crisis within the JW Org.

  I have written a rough draft but ask if anyone can help me refine it. I intend to include links to NBC and Barbara Anderson's videos.

  Hopefully they will pick up this story. Maybe if more of us could contribute, writing Letters to the Editor, contacting News agencies etc, more people will become aware of the problem, and maybe a few children will be saved from this atrocity.

  Maybe nothing will come of it, but maybe they will pick it up if enough people request it.

  Tonight I saw Everyday Heroes featuring Cheryl Perera Fighting child exploitation. She is to be commended for speaking for those that are unable to, the children. It is a major problem as you are well aware.

  NBC did a feature on child abuse within the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society (also known as Jehovah's Witnesses) this past Wednesday November 21. Most parents are unaware of this problem within the organization. Children are left unprotected if a pedophile is in their midst within the Kingdom Hall.

  The October 2007 issue of our monthly journal Awake! features the cover series, “Keep Your Children Safe!” These articles clearly show our concern for protecting children from sexual abuse.

  I know my response is slightly off topic but they are similar in that what the Org writes in their magazines and what many do is total opposite. This is my last response to a thread I started last week.

  They know the magnitude of child and wife abuse within the org but cover it up with these articles; that you will find safety in the loving arms of the organization and be protected from the evil outside world.

  Yesterday I found an Awake January 2008 at the hospital’s waiting room. What the magazine's preach and what they actually do can be very different. Took it home. I noticed that it had two articles: Violence against Women and What Does Headship in Marriage Really Mean? I wonder if my mother and her verbally abusive Elder husband will study these articles. What timing! I only picked it up so no one else would.

  I haven't read the full articles yet but I did read this:

  Under Abuse: ......They have been physically, mentally and sexually abused......all women should be treated with honour and respect. It is their God-given due.

  Under Headship: The Bible commands the husband to exercise his headship unselfishly, putting his wife's benefit ahead of his own. Eph 5:225 says: Husbands, continue loving your wives, just as the Christ also loved to congregation and delivered up himself for it. A husband who follows Chist's supreme example of love rejects a self-centred exercise of headship............He should gain an understanding of his wife's needs.

  most people have seen the posts about the expose of pedophiles on wednesday night on the nbc news.

  most apostates have been aware of that problem for years, and now it looks like it's about to go mainstream.. what happens now when the witlesses go out in field circus now?

  How ironic. Last Saturday my mother mentioned that she wanted to give someone at the door a December Awake? mag that would be beneficial to her because her son had been abused by a Catholic. I so wish I could have told her to watch NBC but with everything else going on in her life I felt it wasn't the time. She would only be upset with me for bringing it up. I so wish I knew who the lady was she was going to give the article to.
